Amicae Housing Co-operative takes its name from the Latin word meaning "meeting place of friends". The development, which is totally accessible to individuals using wheelchairs or other walking aids, symbolizes the co-operative's commitment to the concept of total integration. Seventeen of the 56 one, two and three-bedroom apartments have been specially designed and equipped for individuals using a wheelchair. The co-operative's central location affords the members easy access to all neighbourhood amenities.
